Mountain oasis nestled in the tall pines

Topo Pino Mountain Oasis

Chatham, NH
$130/night - Continue to Booking

Topo Pino is a mountain oasis perched above two lakes bordering the White Mountain National Forest. Only 1.5 hours from Portland, Maine, Topo Pino encompasses over 30 acres ideal for meditation, yoga, reading, and writing. The surrounding hills are perfect for hikers, runners, and cyclists. The Tentrr site includes loads of free amenities including a yoga mat, small propane stove, speaker to play your favorite jams, Polariod camera, solar lanterns, dishes, cooler with fresh ice, and more.

The property is steeped in history as the former summer location for the Boston Cooking School in the early 1900s. The school became world famous following the 1896 publication of The Boston Cooking School Cook Book by Fannie Merritt Farmer. Janet McKenzie Hill, a prominent early practitioner of culinary reform, named the property Topo Pino and ran the cooking school’s summer sessions there.

Hello! We are Lucy D'Agostino Crowe and Caitlin Crowe, the mother-daughter team behind Topo Topo. Lucy's father, Doc D'Agostino, first stepped foot onto Topo Pino in 1967 and the rest is history. Lucy and Caitlin share a passion for Topo Pino and the surrounding area. Lucy can often be found riding her tractor and loading mulch in her truck. Caitlin can often be found riding her bicycle or walking in the woods in search of secret spots to hone her nature photography and write her next poem.
