High Peak Meadows

Elka Park, NY
$130/night - Continue to Booking

Come to our peaceful campsite in a secluded 3-acre meadow off the NY Scenic Byway.

Greet the morning sun from your tent as it rises above High Peak. Surrounded by the Indianhead Wilderness peaks, you'll enjoy the cool mountain air at night and stunning views all day long. Hike all day and then dip in the creek when you get back. The site is perched on the banks of the Roaring Kill Stream, perfect for swimming and fishing. There are also lots of flat areas to put additional tents.

Drive-up access requires SUV or similar clearance for the dirt road and water crossings or park non-SUV vehicles at the public trailhead and walk 400 yards down the private trail to the campsite. Great access to the Roaring Kill Trailhead and to the Devil's Path Hiking Trail.
