Welcome to Tentrr Camping in Massachusetts Cape and Islands

Camping on Massachusetts’ cape and islands is an adventure, living with one foot in nature and the other foot in luxury. You can get back to the earth, enjoy the salt water, and then go to a fabulous five-star meal afterward. There is so much to do on the cape and islands that you’ll never be able to fit it all in, and you’ll never want to leave.

While some camping trips give you the chance to see wildlife, there aren’t many that offer the chance to see whales, but that’s exactly what you’ll get when camping on the Cape. You don’t even need to take a tour boat (though you can) but go walking along Stellwagen Bank, one of the finest whale feeding grounds off Cape Cod Bay. There are also great places to watch the seals, either on your own or accompanied by a naturalist.

Camping at the Cape would be nothing without the beach, and the Cape Cod National Seashore is 40 miles of unspoiled sandy beach. There are tidal pools you can visit at low tide, or windsurfing locations. Coast Guard Beach in Eastham is listed as one of the 10 Best Beaches in America. There is wildlife and natural plants at all the beaches, and don’t be surprised to be swimming alongside a seal (and don’t forget to read up on the shark safety tips!)

For a break in your camping day, head into town to one of the many breweries and wineries that make their home on the cape. Many, including Barnstable Brewing Co and TapTasting Craft Brew Excursions have tasting tours.

And no matter your style when camping, there is always somewhere to get great food. From family-friendly stops by the beach to ice cream shops to delicatessens and fine dining on local seafood, there is plenty to eat.

If we haven’t convinced you to go camping at the Massachusetts Cape and Islands by now, we doubt anything will. It's heaven on earth, and you’ll never want to leave.
