this is a primitive tent site (bring your own tent etc.) is at the end of the mountain road next to a gorgeous tree with a burl. In fall the autumn leaves surround you. You are remote. There is a loo with privacy tent for convenience. Garbage can and firepit (one complimentary bundle of firewood) You can hike to the site or we can drive you in in the side by side We are a family friendly property. You are on an edge of the remote control krawling trails on the property so if you are an avid RC crawler you have free access to all of the courses for crawling except during an event - 2022 event closing dates 5/13/2022 thru 5/21/2022; July 22nd and 23rd and 10/21/2022 thru 10/29/2022 or just sit and relax in your own piece of seclusion. The property only has one neighbor that you won't be able to see and we back up to the Foothills Parkway of the GSMNP We are located in Wears Valley Tn with quaint antique stores, Alwine Pottery, food and distilleries and wine tasting We are approx a mile and half from the Wears Valley Entrance to the Smoky Mountain National park We are approx 2 miles from the entrance to the Foothills Parkway with all of it's breathtaking views We are 5 miles from Townsend Tn (quiet side of Smokies) Cades Cove, Tuckaleechee Caverns, River rafting, River tubing, Fishing, hiking, horseback riding, etc. We are 8 miles from Pigeon Forge TN with all of he attractiona one could want - rides, eateries, dinner theatres, Dollywood, etc. We are approx 15 miles from Gatlinburg with all Gatlinburg has to offer
Park in our parking lot. We will take you and your belongings up to the campsite. Our office for checkin closes at 6 pm so if you are arriving later than 6 pm please check with us. We will accommodate you if at all possible Help yourself to water near the pump house Bring your creek shoes and bug spray No open toed shoes are allowed. We are in the mountains so please you must have closed toed shoes when outside of the campsite Stay aware and admire the wildlife No feeding the wildlife Be considerate of the neighbors and please no loud music or rowdiness Please let us know if there is anything you need to make your stay more comfortable or enjoyable We will provide a bundle of wood for first campfire. No outside firewood is to be brought into the campsite . Campers may collect dead and downed wood found in the nearby woods for campfires. Bundles will also be for sale on site We will follow Tennessee Fire guidelines No pets
