Bring your kayak or canoe and enjoy fishing in our 10-acre catch and release Bishop Pond. Enjoy hiking and taking in the bountiful wildlife and primordial terrain. See deer, foxes, turtles, Bald Eagles, and all imaginable native creatures in the wild! Campers can also see a concert nearby or take a stroll at the historic site of the Woodstock Festival. The Bethel Woods Museum and Center for Performing Arts is only 4.8 miles from the campground. The local area also has farm-to-table restaurants, microbreweries, and distilleries. When the sun sets, marvel at the twinkling gems in the starlit sky. Find adventure or discover your Zen. Most Saturdays are race days at the nearby Bethel Motor Speedway - a favorite activity for families in the region. Your camping adventure awaits!
Do bring food, cooking utensils, bedding (including pillows), towels, coolers, aluminum foil, extra camping chairs if you're group is larger than 2 people, flashlights, matches, mud boots if your stay follows rainy weather and a few warm layers. The queen bed in the safari tent comes with a memory foam mattress but campers staying in the pop-up tent may wish to bring a mat or air mattress for sleeping comfort. Firewood bundles are available as an Extra. Please note: On race days (most Saturdays) you will pick up some sound from the races, but outside of race time, these are very serene campsites. Also, if you hike the property, please check all campers for ticks upon return.
