Overview

A perfect spot to pitch a tent and avoid everyone else and still not have to pee in the woods or search for firewood! Even if you have nothing, we can provide everything you need for a nice, basic camping experience with a few nice amenities safe from hotels and crowds with space to be yourself and really relax. The site is a few hundred feet off a dirt road and carved into a sunny wildflower-studded niche that's just right for a quick stop in a peaceful location that's close to Saratoga, Lake George, and the Adirondacks. Well-behaved dogs allowed on leash. Dog-safe tether on site. Dogs must be leashed and cleaned up after. It is a leave no trace campsite. All cigarette butts must be disposed of properly. Please carry out all you carry in. There is LOTS of space for up to 8 campers, a small charge after 4 people. There's a decent stack of free wood ready for your campfire, and more available in our Extras for a small fee. There is a private, sheltered loo & shower house with toilet paper, an extra loo bag (bags last up two people approximately 2-3 days) and sawdust to keep it fresh. We ask you take used loo bags and deposit them in the can on site upon departure. This year we have a 35 gallon gravity-fed water system to the shower and dish/handwashing station... SO convenient. Extras are available to enhance your experience or feed hungry campers. See below for details. Tent and sleeping bags, cooler & ice, propane gas camp stove and fuel, Brekkie Baskets (once or every day) take the hassle out of waking up and make it a JOY (EVERYONE loves Vicki's cooking and she loves doing it, let her know if you have any dietary preferences and when you want it delivered). Every breakfast is a surprise, tailored to your tastes! Any items rented/borrowed from us are to be put into the quarantine bins upon departure where they can sit and think about what they've done before being washed with super hot water and soap or Isopropyl alcohol to keep things safe for all of our campers.

Site Guidelines

Do let us know before arriving if you have small humans in tow. Vicki likes to spoil them with a treat upon arrival :) Don't hesitate to call or message Ray if you need anything. We probably have what you need :) DEFINITELY try the Brekkie Basket. Vicki will make it however you want. We will deliver it to your tent at the time you request, so you can get on with your vacation activities! DON'T FORGET to put your fire out before retiring to your tent. Don't let your dog off-leash unless tented up with you. We love them, too, and want to keep them safe in unfamiliar territory. There is a long cable tether attached to the deck to give them a little freedom in a safe manner. Please clean up after your dog. There will be a cleaning fee for dog waste left behind. PARKING is in the designated parking areas. Please Do not put your vehicle in the middle of the campsite. We are happy to help you carry anything. Please don't drive all over the field. We like to keep it natural. It is a productive hay field that gets harvested 2-3 times a year, so grass length will vary. There are paths mowed for walking around without brushing tall grass to help keep you tick-free. We keep a few "cushions" of grass for you to pitch your tent upon :) . DO ask to see the 2 other camps if they are vacant, they are each a different relaxing experience with a different theme. DO Empty your loo upon leaving by taking your loo bag and depositing in the garbage can. There will be a $50 per loo cleaning fee for loos left unemptied upon checkout. Don't forget to text us when you are leaving so we can freshen up the site. Don't forget to come back, and leave a happy review so others may also share in your joy,
