This serene, wooded campsite is located in the White Lake Region. Nestled in a magical Pine Forest, perched on the ledge of a wooded ravine over looking the historic Judson Brook. You can hear the melody of nature from the water and in the air. It is situated approximately 150 yards to the lake and is pet-friendly. Remember... Take you're time. Hurry up. Don't be late. The Come As You Are campsite includes 1 canvas safari tent with a queen-sized bunk bed (up to 4 campers) and a pop-up tent for additional campers (up to 4 people), a picnic table, fire pit, and 2 Adirondack chairs. Your firepit includes a grill overlay where you can cook some juicy steaks or grill tasty vegetable kabobs. This campsite has a Tentrr loo (camp toilet). There is also a Coleman sun shower available for campers to rinse off. The maximum camper capacity at this site is 6 people and dogs are welcome. Come As You Are is one of eight signature campsites at the Tentrr Catskill Retreat which encompasses 100+ beautiful acres in the heart of the Catskills. Located less than two hours from Manhattan, campers can get outside and enjoy nature with a bucolic lake on one side and a babbling brook running through the forest on the other side. Bring your kayak or canoe and enjoy fishing in our 10-acre catch and release Bishop Pond. Enjoy hiking and taking in the bountiful wildlife and primordial terrain. See deer, foxes, turtles, Bald Eagles, and all imaginable native creatures in the wild! Campers can also see a concert nearby or take a stroll at the historic site of the Woodstock Festival. The Bethel Woods Museum and Center for Performing Arts is only 4.8 miles from the campground. The local area also has farm-to-table restaurants, microbreweries, and distilleries. When the sun sets, marvel at the twinkling gems in the starlit sky. Find adventure or discover your Zen. Most Saturdays are race days at the nearby Bethel Motor Speedway - a favorite activity for families in the region. Your camping adventure awaits!
Do bring food, cooking utensils, bedding (including pillows), towels, coolers, aluminum foil, extra camping chairs if you're group is larger than 2 people, flashlights, matches, mud boots if your stay follows rainy weather and a few warm layers. The queen bunk bed in the safari tent can sleep up to 4 people; campers staying in the pop-up tent may wish to bring a mat or air mattress for sleeping comfort. Firewood bundles are available as an Extra. Please note: On race days (most Saturdays) you will pick up some sound from the races, but outside of race time, these are very serene campsites. Also, if you hike the property, please check all campers for ticks upon return.
