Our campsite lies on the beautiful two and a half century old LeFevre family farmstead with rich history and stunning views of the Shawangunk Mountain ridge. The property is on a 60-acre old apple orchard that is super private and filled with dramatic views and spectacular sunsets. Wake up in your tent to the sounds of birds chirping, roasters crowing and cows just close enough but just far enough way. Our tent is equipped with a queen size bunk bed perfect for 4. We also have a pop up tent for two if you perfer to bring some friends. PLEASE NOTE: sheets, pillows, blankets, water, shower bag ARE NOT INCLUDED. The campsite is with in 10 minutes of New Paltz with endless options for shopping, restaurants and night life if you so desire. Mohonk Preserve and Minnewaska State Park preserve are just a 10-minute drive away for mountain climbing, hiking, swimming, and biking. Our farm market at Wright's Farm is right down the road so you can easily purchase some home grown fruits, veggies, local grass feed meats, wine, beer and cheeses to enjoy as you relax and watch the fantastic sunsets and the cows graze in their field below you. Wright's Farm is also home to Gardiner Brewing company, where we make our own delicious microbrews and ciders! Brewery open Saturday’s and Sundays 3:00-7:00. We have so much to offer for outdoor enthusiasts.

Site Guidelines

We have over 200 chickens that you can watch and feed your fruit and vegetable scraps to. Please respect our property. We are a carry in carry out campsite. Campers must provide their own water for drinking, washing, etc. Wood can be purchased at our farm market for burning in the fire pit and wood stove. Open 8:-6:00 seven days a week. We have a garbage dumpster and recycling at our farm stand for your garbage. Please do not leave at campsite.

I am a farmer growing mostly tree fruit and some veggies on 450 acres. My entire family is involved in farming. The farm has been in our family for over 100 years. We decided to open up two of our farms to camping. The 1772 LeFevre House Homestead because we no longer use it for tree fruit farming. Instead we share this beautiful property with a fellow farm who raises cattle. Our second location is on our home farm at Wright’s Farm. Here you will find an active farm.
