Camp next to the majestic Delaware River in the comfort of a fully electrified and insulated tent. The ultimate romantic getaway is now available in any season for the truly adventurous. Host has upgraded the tent to include carpeted and insulated floor, woodstove, charming and powerful ‘fire burning’ electric heater, bluetooth speaker, and real mattress for any climate. Across the road is our 5 bedroom farmhouse lodge for real bathrooms 24/7 and WIFI (rooms can be booked separately by request if you have extra guests or family that prefer indoor living). The farmhouse lounge is a great place to hang out and play games or use the common kitchen to make meals. Stay a day… stay a week... Explore the local communities, shops, and restaurants, ski at Big Bear, or hike in local trails, and relax and read on a superb deck under a blanket by your campfire or woodstove. Fall, winter, and early spring are magical isolated times in the valley not seen by others. Watch the river flow by and embracing a true back to nature experience. It is roughing it -- with all the amenities. Within 10-15 minutes are the towns of Barryville, Yulan, and Eldred where you will find great spots for breakfast, lunch and dinner! Or try your hand at winter cooking on an open campfire. Please note: canvas tent features a queen-size bed for 2 people. An additional pop up tent is available upon request for extra guests. Only cell service is through Verizon and even that is not 100% reliable. Please make contact before -- if you have any questions or special needs. Winter camping means boots, shovels, and careful attention to weather patterns. It is a great place to hunker down in any storm, but make sure you have your provisions !

Site Guidelines

Bring loads of extra blankets and warm clothing. Boots are a must. Although the driveway is kept clear, car should ideally be AWD or 4WD depending on weather conditions. Consult your campkeeper. Let your campkeeper know when you are arriving so we can light up entry for you and have your tent pre-warmed. Cleanup all common spaces when you leave. But, make yourself at home.

What is better than a night under the stars with fire, family, and friends?
