Less than two hours from Manhattan, come discover all that nature has to offer in the heart of the Catskills! R2 Where R U is a double tent GIANT platform inspired by the brilliant thinkers and creators whose imaginations have inspired us all. May their indelible marks on society continue to inspire future generations of young minds to imagine big and reach for the stars and beyond... The Glampsite includes 2 canvas safari tents, each with a queen-sized bunk bed (4 campers per safari tent), 2 pop-up tents for additional campers (up to 4 campers per pop-up tent), 2 picnic tables, fire pits and Adirondack chairs to soak up the lake view. The pop-up tents can be set up on the main platform. Maximum camper capacity is 16 (8 in the safari tents and 8 in the pop-up tents). This campsite has 2 Tentrr loos (camp toilet) - each is housed in a 7x4' ft wooden enclosure for privacy. There are also Coleman sun showers available for campers to rinse off. Relax creekside in your own quiet forest nook. Take a canoe on our private lake and fish for your lunch. Explore all that White Lake and Bethel have to offer. Enjoy a concert or stroll at the historic site of the Woodstock Festival, The Bethel Woods Museum and Center for Performing Arts (only 4.8 miles from campground). Make lifetime memories with good friends and family at the numerous local distilleries and farm-to-table restaurants. When the sun sets, marvel at the twinkling gems in the starlit sky. Find adventure or discover your Zen. This Glampsite is part of the Tentrr Catskill Retreat, a group of 8 distinctive Tentrr sites spread out over 100+ private waterfront, rambling brook, and forested acres. Go fishing in our 10-acre catch and release Bishop Pond located in the center of the property. Enjoy the magnificent and enchanting terrain on a hike. Most Saturdays are race days at the nearby Bethel Motor Speedway - a favorite activity for families in the region. Tons of wildlife live on the grounds of the site. You will see deer and/or signs of deer throughout the grounds.
Do bring food, bedding (including pillows), towels, coolers, extra camping chairs if you're in a larger group, flashlights, matches, mud boots if your stay follows rainy weather and a few warm layers. The bunk beds in the safari tents come with memory foam mattresses but campers staying in the pop-up tents may wish to bring a mat or air mattress for sleeping comfort. Firewood bundles are available as an Extra. Due to the unique deck finish, dogs are not allowed at this campsite (but we have other pet-friendly sites on the property). Up to 8 campers are included in the base rate ($45/pp over 8 up to a max of 16 campers). Please note: On race days (most Saturdays) you will pick up some sound from the races, but outside of race time, these are very serene campsites. Also, if you hike the property, please check all campers for ticks upon return.
