Coeur d'Alene is fast becoming one of the most sought after destinations in the US. Located on the edge of the Rocky Mountains, panoramic views are filled with forests of Ponderosa pines that go as far as the eye can see. The jewel of North Idaho is Coeur d'Alene Lake. The campsite is located on 150 private acres above Coeur d'Alene Lake. The site is unique in that it affords a 270 degree view of the lake. This is arguably the best lake view in the entire county, right from the deck of the tent. On the property, campers will be able to hike and mountain bike to their hearts delight. Elk, deer, moose, turkeys and bald eagles are regularly seen. A short hike across the road will lead you to a lake shore beach. There you can swim, canoe, fish or just chill. A few miles down the road is the town of Harrison. Besides a great place to get ice cream, Harrison also serves as a jumping on point for the Rails to Trails bicycle paths. We HIGHLY recommend taking a bike ride on this lakeside path (and subsequently eating ice cream). We offer queen over queen bunk beds with memory foam mattresses, real sheets and simulated down comforters. Additionally, we provide a camp stove, mini bbq and all the pots/pans/utensils needed to cook. New for 2021: electricity, water, real toilets in a bathroom, a new larger deck, lots of grass. The pictures here are all from last year...the campsite looks different, but we know you will like it.
