Just like being at home, there is nothing more stressful than coming home after a busy day to a messy space. The same goes for your campsite! Coming back from a days worth of activities to a mess is not what you want for your Tentrr getaway. So, we have compiled a list of ways to maintain your campsite, and ways to help make cleanup a breeze.
Make less of a mess. This one is a given, but we’re just going to give you a not-so-subtle reminder. Pre-cook as much as possible, so that you do not need to use multiple plates and surfaces to prepare your meals. Use reusable tupperware and jars, and reduce waste from disposable flatware.
Utilize your campsites water features! If your campsite is near a pond or stream, use the water to rinse off your dishes. Please make sure to not use any soaps or cleaning solutions if you do this, as this can harm the environment. If you want to use a dish soap, opt for an all natural product, and rinse the dishes in a separate container rather than in the natural water source.
Clean up after pet waste! We know you know this, but nobody wants to create more garbage because they forgot to pick up after their pup. If possible, use biodegradable bags, and toss it in with the rest of your trash.
Unless you are camping alone, make sure to tackle your mess as a team. There is nothing worse than being the only one cleaning. Not only does this mean that there would be more time for activities, but it also means that you have more people looking for a mess to clean which leads to a cleaner site!
Keep it clean. Keep it safe. Keep it Tentrr.
